Smart Energy Management Solutions for Homes

Entry-Level Position

  • Travel is required for the majority of the time, with long and irregular work hours from time to time on various third-party wind sites throughout the US.
  • Reports to, assists, and supports the Lead Major Component Specialist in managing and coordinating the operations of the major component activities performed for Kinetic Wind Operations to assure safe and efficient operations, minimizing cost and optimizing performance.
  • Performing up-tower major component replacements on multiple turbine manufacturers.
  • Travel is 95% of the time throughout the USA to service various wind farm facilities.
  • Travel up to 4 weeks at a time, with at least 10 days back home rotation.
  • Self-motivator; ability to work successfully, safely, and independently at remote wind farm locations.
  • Knowledge of GE or Siemens platforms is a bonus, but not required.

Lead Major Component Specialist

  • Two (2) years of overall experience with at least one (1) year in operations and/or maintenance of power generation and related facilities, including experience with wind turbines.
  • Turbine major component replacement experience required; experience across multiple manufacturers (i.e., Siemens and GE) strongly preferred.
  • Previous crane and rigging experience required.
  • Travel is required for the majority of the time, with long and irregular work hours from time to time on various third-party wind sites throughout the US.
  • Reports to, assists, and supports the Supervisor of Major Component Specialist in managing and coordinating the operations of the major component activities performed for Kinetic Wind Operations to assure safe and efficient operations, minimizing cost and optimizing performance.
  • Performing up-tower major component replacements on multiple turbine manufacturers.
  • Travel is 95% of the time throughout the USA to service various wind farm facilities.
  • Travel up to 4 weeks at a time, with at least 10 days back home rotation.
  • Self-motivator: Ability to work successfully, safely, and independently at remote wind farm locations.
